I seen it. The aftermath. I wouldn't wish that kind of pain on anyone.
[She's quiet again. She'd heard rumours, ones she quickly shot down around one army camp. Rumours that this Soldier: 76 person was actually Jack Morrison. She didn't want to hear it. Jack was dead. Gone. This Soldier was so angry about everything, so dismissive and short with people. With her.
She didn't want it to be Jack. Not after speaking to him. Because even if he was Jack, it wasn't the same man she thought of fondly. Thought of as part of her dysfunctional family.
But with the memory Archie spoke about, the memory she saw. That Reyes' name came up, that she had a memory from Jack's point of view, all since this Soldier: 76 appeared. It turned her stomach and she was so scared. Scared that it was him more than it wasn't.]
[he holds his hand up, showing off the rainbow aura around it signifying his healing ability.
it's a joke though, and he drops it and sighs.]
I don't know. Maybe after this memory bullshit is over... do you wanna stay at mine? Last thing I wanna hear is he found out and broke into your place.
[archie exhales slightly, looks away. it doesn't feel like enough; of course it doesn't, there's no tangible results. he knows truly, if someone says it is he should trust them and their feelings to be agree, but he still struggles with this.]
[What Archie had been doing, checking with her, talking with her, it was all enough. She knew she could call him up and go to him, cry on his shoulder and rant until she was exhausted.]
You might not believe it, but you're genuinely a great guy. [Even with the flaws he had.]
[This is genuinely one of the only things they seem to argue over. She doesn't say, or think he's perfect. He's done awful, awful things but here, the Archie she's known in this world, not a bad guy. She knows she'd think differently if she was from his world. But she isn't. But she doesn't press it because she knows he doesn't.]

I have my suspicions now but I hope I'm wrong.
Re: >action
M'sorry. Sounds like you might've known him.
[he leans back.]
Thanks for the heal, Angie. Is there anything I can do to help with this guy?
Re: >action
But she smiles softly when Archie moves back.]
Any time. [Because asking him to try and stop getting into so many fights is useless.]
I don't think so unless you can magically make him stop being so...him. [Him being Soldier. The grumpy asshole that he is.]

Re: >action
She thinks for a moment and then nods. She'd feel safer and not so alone.]
I'd like that, yeah. I never thought about that to be honest.
Re: >action
Re: >action
Re: >action
Do you... know what Talon is? That was in his memory, too.
Re: >action
They're a terrorist organisation that's been around for a several years.
Re: >action
Think he's part of them? He certainly acts like one.
Re: >action
[He hadn't done anything that would make her think he would be part of them.]
Re: >action
[he frowns.]
Would you know if any of them did show up?
Re: >action
I've seen blurry CCTV footage and shaky phone footage. Maybe? Some by name, but not a face to go with it.
Re: >action
[archie rubs his head.]
Not great at keepin' the whole civilian line, is he?
Re: >action
Are you feeling better? If not I could do more.
Re: >action
[he gives her shoulder a squeeze.]
Anything I can do for you?
Re: >action
Re: >action
...'Course, Ange. You know I will be.
Re: >action
You might not believe it, but you're genuinely a great guy. [Even with the flaws he had.]
Re: >action
Stay safe from him, Ange.
Re: >action
I just wish I knew who he was for sure.
