[She gives a small wave when he enters and when he's there and showing her his uncovered face she cringes. She's seen worse, but it's never pleasant to see anything like this. Angela gingerly places her hands on the sides of his head and turns it slowly side to side, inspecting his nose.]
Oh my God, Archie. Come on, let's go into a room.
[She shows her badge to security and let's them know that he's with her. Leading him in to the lift to go to the first floor where she knows there's a free meeting room.]
[he winces, looks away from her when she takes his face. nothing personal, he just doesn't like this kind of attention... like he doesn't get his ass beat enough.]
[It's something she has to do though. To know just how much energy to put into this.
They had been in the lift and she stepped out when she hears Archie say that name. Her heart suddenly aches. Her stomach does flips and she's frozen on the spot for a moment. She's quick to catch herself, she's not hiding anything from him when she looks with wider eyes. How did he know that name? ]
[Swallowing is hard, her throat felt like it was closed. It had been so long since she had heard that name. Had thought about Gabe. She missed him so much. She missed everyone.
She straightens a little and continues on to the room as Archie talks. Once they're in the room she tries not to jump to conclusions. To break down and cry on Archie. So she swallow again and goes about healing him. She's gentle as she touches his face again and let's her healing magic wash over him. Angela doesn't need contact to heal but this man in front of her, one of her closest friends is anchoring her.
The soldier could have been a member of Overwatch and just hated what was happening within the organisation.]
There was an explosion at the headquarters building in my world. Reyes was a member. Not my dire to superior but he used to be the leader. Something happened.
I haven't...i haven't thought about him in a while.
I seen it. The aftermath. I wouldn't wish that kind of pain on anyone.
[She's quiet again. She'd heard rumours, ones she quickly shot down around one army camp. Rumours that this Soldier: 76 person was actually Jack Morrison. She didn't want to hear it. Jack was dead. Gone. This Soldier was so angry about everything, so dismissive and short with people. With her.
She didn't want it to be Jack. Not after speaking to him. Because even if he was Jack, it wasn't the same man she thought of fondly. Thought of as part of her dysfunctional family.
But with the memory Archie spoke about, the memory she saw. That Reyes' name came up, that she had a memory from Jack's point of view, all since this Soldier: 76 appeared. It turned her stomach and she was so scared. Scared that it was him more than it wasn't.]
[he holds his hand up, showing off the rainbow aura around it signifying his healing ability.
it's a joke though, and he drops it and sighs.]
I don't know. Maybe after this memory bullshit is over... do you wanna stay at mine? Last thing I wanna hear is he found out and broke into your place.
>action
Yo.
[said awkwardly, he lowers his hand slightly and he's not, like, MASSACRED, but just pretty clearly shit-beaten.]

Do you know why he punched you?
Re: >action
I asked him who Reyes is.

What-what made you ask him that name?
Re: >action
It was... part of the thing I saw. It was like-- I was him. Buried under some rubble, thinkin' about how much I hated the guy.

Re: >action
Sorry, Angie. I'm sorry this is following you here.
Re: >action
Don't apologise. Something about that day, that time is always with me.
That must have been an awful memory to have. Especially if it's not something you actually experienced yourself.
Re: >action
[he rubs his face.]
Do you know who he is?

I have my suspicions now but I hope I'm wrong.
Re: >action
M'sorry. Sounds like you might've known him.
[he leans back.]
Thanks for the heal, Angie. Is there anything I can do to help with this guy?
Re: >action
But she smiles softly when Archie moves back.]
Any time. [Because asking him to try and stop getting into so many fights is useless.]
I don't think so unless you can magically make him stop being so...him. [Him being Soldier. The grumpy asshole that he is.]

Re: >action
She thinks for a moment and then nods. She'd feel safer and not so alone.]
I'd like that, yeah. I never thought about that to be honest.
Re: >action
Re: >action
Re: >action
Do you... know what Talon is? That was in his memory, too.
Re: >action
They're a terrorist organisation that's been around for a several years.
Re: >action
Think he's part of them? He certainly acts like one.
Re: >action
[He hadn't done anything that would make her think he would be part of them.]
Re: >action
[he frowns.]
Would you know if any of them did show up?
Re: >action
I've seen blurry CCTV footage and shaky phone footage. Maybe? Some by name, but not a face to go with it.
Re: >action
[archie rubs his head.]
Not great at keepin' the whole civilian line, is he?
Re: >action
Are you feeling better? If not I could do more.
Re: >action
[he gives her shoulder a squeeze.]
Anything I can do for you?
